Carlos F. Nieves Vega

Carlos Nieves serves HTR-Del Valle & Nieves, PSC as partner-in-charge of the firm’s Auditing Department. He has more than seventeen years experience in public accounting in both auditing and tax service areas.

He has conducted training sessions for the CPA Society of Puerto Rico and seminars at other professional institutions such as Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, the Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rio (CIAPR) and others.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting at University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus
• Masters Degree in Finance, Interamerican University (in progress)
• Certified Public Accountant

• Audits of construction and development companies, wholesale, manufacturing, shipping companies, and service providers
• Experience in corporate and individual taxes, including corporations with approved tax exemption status in PR and the US
• Litigation support/ construction claim preparation
